Quick potential idea on the future of our species

So our bodies uses minute electrical impulses to perform all the things we do, right? What about biologically engineering a transistor or form of nano-technology that can be powered solely on that minute amount of electricity? Thus paving the way for possible awesome future adoptions of the human body? Which can help us become even more of an intelligent species….I could go on.
