What every woman should have in her lingerie drawer.  Starting at the particle and moving to the more sensational and let’s face it… fun.  So ladies take some notes and hit the stores cause some of these might be investments but I assure you darlings, it’s all worth it.

The Particle

A nude set of underwear

 When it comes to clothing on the little more sheer side that black or hot pink bra isn’t going to cut it.  A good basic nude set of underwear is probably one of the most important things a woman can own. Seamless Undies

Three little letters no one wants to hear. VPL…Visible panty line. Tight dresses and skirts can really show off the curves of your body but if you’re not wearing the right underwear those lines can distract from what you want people to focus on.

The T- Shirt bra

This is the basic of the basic. Yes plain and simple but supportive is what your girls need and your girls deserve the best. This is meant for those fitted t-shirts that you can’t have a bra with frills underneath. Smooth, supportive.

Convertible bra

It does it all…strapless, racer back, and so much more. Sometimes your shirt doesn’t work with the bra you have, so this little baby will help change with all your needs.

Shapewear

This is something most young women think they don’t need but it’s something I highly recommend. Celebrities normally don’t step on the red carpet without some piece of shapewear hidden beneath their million dollar gowns and there is a reason for that. It’s meant to smooth those little bulges you might not feel so comfortable with. It can give you that beautiful hourglass shape that can make that dress you wear over it appear even more flattering.

A PJ set

Everyone sleeps in a lot of different things now a days. An oversize t-shirt, a perfectly matched tank top and shorts, a frilly nightie, nothing at all… It all changes daily and seasonally. I think a PJ set is a good essential to have. Wear the matching set together or pair the long bottoms with a tank or just wear the top itself and nothing else. This is a set you can really get some wear out of.

Sports bra

Even if you’re not hitting the gym 24/7 a good supportive sports bra is a good idea to have. Those days you’re at home just lounging around, maybe cleaning a bit a sports bra is a nice change of pace to throw on then that nice bra of yours. Personally as a girl with bigger breasts sometimes the underwire in my bra can bug me after wearing it all day and when I get home and change into sweats I will sometimes put on a sports bra just to relax it.

When it does come down to using a sports bra, for in fact sports, there is a lot to consider. You need a sports bra that is over all going to be both comfortable and supportive. If you are fuller busted like me then I would highly suggest you get a sports bra with some underwire in it. Back when I was younger in gym class, I ended up wearing two bras. My normal one and also a sports bra that wasn’t very supportive hence the reason why I wore two because at the time I didn’t know better. So ladies really take the time to find a good fitting, supportive bra before you go for a run or do whatever sports you are in too.

A Robe

Lounging around or getting ready for a night out, a robe is a very good piece to have. It’s something you can just throw on and is both flattering and comfortable. There are so many different types of robes from the very upscale boudoir ones to the fluffy printed time-for- a-shower ones. A Garter belt and Black stockings

Now this is a staple again that I think instead of wearing restricting pair of tights these are a nice alternative. This also works in the bedroom with a nice little bra and panty set and heads to the more fun side of the lingerie drawer.

I feel as though it’s always a classic choice. Like the little black dress every woman should own a little black lace bra. As soon as you put this on the confidence inside of you should soar and that bombshell emerge. Sure you can wear this piece to make that special someone’s jaw drop but this lacy number is meant complement the wearer, the most important… you.

A Slip/ Chemise

Just at the mention of Cat on Hot Tin Roof I picture Elizabeth Taylor standing at a doorway in a breath taking little lace trimmed slip, and I’m not the only one. A slip all your own style, weather you would like a more lacy number or something more dangerous. I’m going to throw in this section shapewear slips as well because lets face it modern age has caught up with the vintage slips of yesterdays and the combination of the two look stunning.

Lace/ Sheer Boyshort

With all the different cuts of underwear I pick the boyshort because I think it’s one of the more flattering on a range of different body types. The sheerness of mesh or softness of lace takes it too a whole other level.

A Bustier

I think these are sensual beyond belief and these are a good piece to have on hand for the bedroom. A bustier is a form fitting bodice but unlike a corset it has cups. You can find these at some of your mall stores in their intimate’s section or you can go to the name brand. I believe the first one I ever purchased was from Forever 21 when I was little younger. Today I would defiantly go buy one that’s much better quality and more elegant but I’m not going to lie, I still have that bustier from Forever 21 just in the back of my lingerie drawer in case a certain someone pops over. I also think this piece can double as outerwear with a nice pair of jeans and a leather jacket on top. Really take your lingerie to a whole new level.

Fun Charming Underwear (Patterns, Sayings, etc.)

I’m going to round out the list with a piece I think is essential. Not all underwear you own has to be solid colors or sensual garments. We all have those bad days and sometimes you need a pair of underwear with ice skating bananas on them to make you laugh or at the very least a smile. I think not only are these nice to have but it will just brighten your day when you wear them.
