Stupid, but kind of worth it (Crush update)

I was sick with a cold this morning, I had a headache and I was feeling dizzy. I woke up around 1, feeling a little better. I remembered I had homework to go pick up from school, so I walked. Before I left the house, I also took Andrew’s birthday present with me. After walking to school, and picking up my work, I walked for an extra 30 minutes in the rain and cold (Thank god I was wearing a hoodie and 4 layers) to go to Andrew’s school to give him the gift. School had just ended a few minutes after I arrived and I was waiting in the lobby for him. The minute I saw him come around the corner, I ran up to him, holding the bag with both my hands out. He asked how I got to the school, and I told him I walked for 45 minutes from my house. He looked so happy that I did that just for him and then he started turning red and looked at the ground as he took my gift. After he looked inside and said he loved it, I also turned red and looked at the ground. We were quiet for a few minutes, just standing in the middle of the hallway while people passed us by and my friends around the corner, fangirling over me and him. What felt like a million years of silence and awkwardness, turned out to be about 3 minutes. I wanted so bad to tell him my feelings about him. I was working out the words in my head, but couldn’t think of anything! He had to leave me because his friends were waiting for him and he needed to get home. I ran back to my friends and I started sweating, not knowing if it was because of Andrew or because I was wearing so many layers! After that I realized I had to walk all the way back home in the rain and cold… Stupid, but kind of worth it…
