DallasCon 2012

I want to take some time (time out from my photo spam) to express how amazing this weekend was. Unlike a lot of y’all, this wasn’t my first con. I’d been to one before and I’m going to more in the future. It was honestly better than ChiCon. I didn’t do nearly as much as I did then and it was more relaxing (minus the photo ops yesterday). I’m not saying ChiCon sucked. It was amazing for it’s own reasons and I’ve already expressed my love for it here. I learned lessons from then that I used this weekend to enhance my experience.

Dallas was just different.  I met some more really amazing people this weekend and experienced things I’ll have in my memories forever. I think the liquor loosened me up a bit. I felt even more at home among the fans than before. I made some amazing friends from all over the world that I hope to keep in contact with for a long while. Made a few con buddies to hang out (and drink…) with next year. The guests were amazing. And even though there were a few ~unexpected surprises~ the con was amazing. :)

If I met you at the con and didn’t know who you were, I rushed off or it was awkward, I’m so sorry!!! If you come back next year, we can hang out or try to! :)

I’d also like to apologize to anyone who sat behind me during the panels or at our table during the cocktail party. I was really obnoxious at the party but I had a great time. Amy made me do 2 shots of Patron plus I had 2 beers and a drink at dinner. Eeek. It was awesome though!!

Anyway, DallasCon was amazing. Can’t wait until next year. :D :D
