cosplay notes
ok so i’ve decided to cosplay Death the Kid for the May MCM. and i’m torn. i have three options…
- normal cosplay, as accurate as possible
- switch the jacket for a waistcoat to be cooler and… different
- genderbent cosplay with a cute black skirt and boots that i’ll adjust to look like something fem!Kid would wear
which do you guys prefer?
Today I dyed my shoes for my terezi costume. They’re still drying right now but I like the color. It’s much faster to just take the fabric dye and a paint brush and just quickly paint the dye on and rinse it off. Do that a few times and just let it dry. Make sure to be fast and thorough and rinse until the water runs clear after each coat.
Maybe if I paint the horns tonight I could do a few progress shots???…I mean..I already have the shirt done and horns glued onto the headband. Oh and I realized that I also have an aradia cosplay on accident. I had red fabric paint and a grey skirt & the wig to do her costume.
but anyway I’m excited for my first Homestuck cosplay (n˘v˘•)¬
