Okay so my family is on vacation in Fairmont, we decided to go to the hot springs there. We were in the pool when we noticed brown stuff in the water so my mums boyfriend was like “Theres shit in the pool let’s go into the hot pool” so we did just that and while we were leaving the life guards ordered everyone out of the colder pool and told them to go to the diving pool/hot pool. Not a minute after that when we were in the hot pool a wickedly loud noise that sounded like a rumble type thing blared from the side of the outdoor pool. (over looking the Columbia Valley) Naturally everyone looked there to find a tree collapsing and being “pulled back” as the confusion hit everyone the lifeguards ordered everyone to evacuate. I grabbed my little sister and my mum,her boyfriend and his daughter were all right behind us and we made our way up the hill where we could see the mud slide damaging everything in its way. Since the pool & resort is on a cliff side thing we were given permission to go to the locker rooms to get our stuff but most people had things on a grassy area or in another place we weren’t allowed. They asked everyone who could to go home (if it was in a safe area) to make way for emergency vehicles so we went to our place since it was in a safe area. Some people said that nobody knows if everyone is okay but everyone at the Resort is counted for. The road connecting to the  campground just above the pool & resort has been washed out.

South Bound.

Last Saturday, April 09, 2011, Mom, her friends, their offsprings and I went on an outing. We went down south. The entire trip was super fun. It was more on joyride coz we practically spent more time in the van.

Anyway, our first stop was Sonya’s Garden.

image

The place was pretty and very serene. There were flowers everywhere.

image

Sonya’s Garden is both a restaurant and an Inn. But since we just had breakfast, we just took a couple of photos and bought delicacies.

Sonya’s most generous gift yet is the opportunity for her guests to stay awhile in her private world thru her Bed and Breakfast facility where one can retreat to a charming cottage of their own. - www.sonyasgarden.com

It’s the perfect place for relaxation and pampering. Anyway afterwards, we stopped by a Grilling restaurant on the way to Club Balai Isabel.

image

The view was just too beautiful.

image

Afterwards, we did another stop at Laeuna de Taal to see a better view of the Taal Volcano.

Then we headed to Club Balai Isabel.

Their amenities and facilities are superb! They say it makes them an excellent choice for vacations, special occasions and events.

And what’s even awesome-r is the view of the Taal Volcano from the shore! I’ve never seen Taal that close. My photos doesn’t give justice. I just wish my eyes could take pictures.

Afterwards, we headed to Laguna, our last destination, Caliraya. It was a very long ride from Balai Isabel, Batangas.

image

Caliraya is the best place for bondings, team buildings and recollection as it offers so many facilities. It is known as the first, if not only, Christian family resort in Asia.

This is the famous Mud Slide, or what they call Slip n’ Slide.

After touring the entire place, we decided to head home as night time was already approaching. The entire day was exhausting but we had so much fun.
