Learning how to tie.

Inspired by this post

Cas’ hands fumbled with the blue fabric as it wrapped intricately around his fingers. His brow was furrowed and his lips pursed in frustration. He was an Angel of the Lord for Christ sake, he should be able to knot this infernal tie.

“Easy there, skippy. Don’t hurt yourself.” The familiar rasp of Dean’s voice came from behind him.

The angel dropped the tie and went rigid with irritation, “Dean, this tie will not cooperate with me.”

Dean just chuckled, the sound was closer than before. And there was a sudden pressure against Cas’ back. The angel instantly relaxed as he felt Dean’s chest press against him.

Strong arms wrapped around his torso, holding him for a split second.

“Dean…?”

But the hunter already had the tie in his hands. Castiel watched with wonder and slight annoyance as his lithe fingers tied the fabric with ease. He felt his face drop and, even though it was the most human gesture ever, pouted.

Dean made it seem so simple. Cas gripped the tie, examining the way the blue cloth was tied around itself.

Dean sighed, “Jeez, don’t get your panties in a bunch. Here I’ll show you how.”

Cas only had a moment before he was being spun around. And suddenly Dean was right there. His green eyes cast down as he undid the tie.

Cas felt his breath stop for reasons he couldn’t explain and his eyes automatically began to move as he counted the individual sandy spots on Dean’s face. There were so many. And Cas wanted to reach out and…

“Yo. Cas.” Dean said, looking at him expectantly, “You good, man?”

“Oh…yes.”

“Alright, watch.”

Cas slowly dragged his eyes from Dean’s face to what his fingers were doing.

“It’s easy once you get the hang of it. I did Sam’s for years. Here, look.”

And his fingers were moving, brushing softly against the thin fabric of Cas’ shirt which illicited a strange response from the angel. He felt heat rush to the places Dean touched and his heart began to beat faster.

He tried to concentrate on what Dean was doing with his hands.

“Then you pull this part through like this. And you pull it tight.”

Dean pulled the tie to Cas’ collar, leaving their faces an inch apart. Cas let out a breath of surprise at the proximity, his fingers twitching slightly.

“I…” he began, but his throat was too dry.

Dean licked his lips, seeming to be surprised as well. Cas swallowed and tried again.

“I…like my tie to be looser. It’s rather…” Cas tried to continue but it was hard when Dean was leaning in to whisper in his ear.

“Like this?” Dean loosened the tie slowly, his fingers dragging across Cas’ sternum.

“Yes.” Cas breathed.

Dean’s hand released the tie but continued to move along Cas’ chest with feather light touches. The hair on his arms and on the back of his neck stood on end and heat began to spread through him. His breathing began to speed as he tried to stand still.

But he wasn’t the only one having a hard time breathing, Dean was having respiratory issues of his own as his fingers traced further and further down Cas’ torso.

“Thank…” Cas began but there was suddenly something blocking his mouth. It was warm and soft and damp. The response was instant. Cas’ hands were in Dean’s hair and Dean’s were grabbing his belt loops, pulling their hips roughly together.

The pair gasped in response, their bodies sliding together in the suddenly too hot room. Their lips worked together furiously, barely parting long enough for them to breath. Loud, wet, hungry sounds saturated the room as they backed up to the wall where Dean pinned Cas, knee between his legs.

After what seemed like too short of a time Dean pulled away, breathing raggedly. He chuckled, wiping the corner of his lips with his hand.

“Gotta hand it to ya, you’re not as naive as I originally thought.”

Cas was still pressed against the wall, his vision hazy and his body like gelatin. Not only was he disoriented but his pants were uncomfortably tight.

“And you are as experienced as I originally thought.”

“Does that mean you liked it?”

And then Dean was close to him again, his body pressed against the angel’s. Cas gasped softly at the response it created in his body.

“Y…yes.”

“Good.”

That awesome moment when you laugh like a maniac because you know your readers are going to murder you after they read the chapter that you are writing.
