What if--
What if Kurt, during the last few episodes of Season 2, transfers to Dalton without Blaine? They try (‘try’ being the operative word) not to let the separation anxiety get in between them and their relationship. As much as they try, it does, and they go through a really, really tough time (maybe their first fight?).
Season 2 Finale: *cue Blaine at Dalton* He realizes that if he wants to keep Kurt in his life, he has to transfer to McKinley. *cue Blaine singing “Never knew I could feel like this… like I’ve never seen the sky before”* *cue Blaine/Kurt singing the rest of Come What May separately, until Blaine (from Dalton) goes to McKinley, gets there, and runs, and then he sees Kurt at the hallway, by his locker (looking at the ‘courage’ picture, maybe?). They meet, eye-to-eye, and walk slowly toward each other, while singing the chorus of Come What May. The scene ends with a Klaine kiss (what else, really?), aaaaand… cue end of Season 2 (Season 3 is when Blaine auditions for ND)*
