[Motorcity Fic] kid!Duke/kid!Rayon - What Thunder Said
Note: Because Mirre keeps coming up with prompts I CAN’T HELP BUT WRITE even though I have all this uni stuff to do, haha! So, this is basically how the Duke and Rayon would have met, I suppose? (P.S: Sorry in advance if there’s like pronoun confusion or whatever— It is exceptionally difficult to write a pov fic without using a character’s name, ffft)

WHAT THUNDER SAID
-0-
The ceiling roared with a life and vigor of its town. There was no rain or lightning, not yet, but the thunder grumbled with the strength of a hundred lions. It echoed and beat across Motorcity, almost threateningly—but there was a boy who absolutely loved it. Thunder was the best bass to the concerts he held in his mind.
Much of Motorcity was still uncharted, empty and abandoned. It was a whole land out there for him to discover and make his; a large map full of treasures and beauties waiting for him to find them, because no one else could appreciate the treasures of this city the same way he did. The scene dressed itself before him, like a wide panorama. He noticed the tree first—because it was impossible to miss. It was huge, imposing, probably ages old, and it glowed with a soft magical tingle. Its giant roots grew into an old abandoned building, greyed and ruined by the torches of time and decay. Cracks and holes decorated the desolate structure, looking almost eerie and haunted. But the boy couldn’t see it that way. To him, the land was an ugly duckling waiting to blossom. There was so much potential here, he knew.
So little trees were left in Motorcity that the boy wondered how this place could go unnoticed for so long. Not that he cared. Even if there were people here, he’d find a way to make it his. He’d clean it up and make it into the beautiful dove it deserved to be.
Thunder shook the world again, this time rain splashing down with it. The boy skipped with a grin, throwing a great riff on his air guitar while he sung the notes out loud.
The echo changed as soon as he stepped into the abandoned building, taking shelter from the rain. The sound of his voice jumped from concrete to concrete like a beautiful symphony. He strutted, making spins on the ground, imagining a crowd of loyal minions enjoying his show. He stuck his tongue out as another thunder hit and he changed riffs accordingly.
[Motorcity Fic] Duke/Chuck/Rayon - Electric Blossom
Author’s Notes:
And here it is, the giant fic sequel to Lasso as commissioned by Mirre once again! I’ve never written a single fic this long before so I’m sorry if there details and stuff that seem odd. Also, I wrote most of this in the aftermath of finding out that Motorcity wasn’t going to be renewed. Guess you could say this story is how I vented out my feelings.
Oh yeah, disclaimer— most of the italic section titles are lyrics from Panic! At the Disco songs— except two two that are from The Paper Kites’ Bloom. As for the piano song(s) that Rayon plays later, it could be anything— probably something jazzy. Personally, I was listening to that piano medley from Sakamichi no Apollon and Chopin’s La Fantaisie.
Warnings: GUILT. GUILT. GUILT. Threesome.

Don’t you see? I’m the narrator and this is just the prologue.
When Julie got back to the garage, she hopped off 9Lives and rushed upstairs to the lounge. Urgency was written all over her face and she expected to find her friends up and ready to listen. Her boots clicked against the floor as she ran to where she saw Dutch standing a few feet away from Mike and Chuck. She registered the tension too late. What happened? Jules had never seen either Mike or Chuck look so… angry. Chuck was shrinking with frustration, cheeks red, while Mike stared up at him with complete and total disbelief. They weren’t talking, but anyone present could hear the silent shouting and blaming.
Chuck opened his mouth to protest. Mike didn’t let him start.
“Why didn’t just tell us—me? We—I could’ve helped! I could’ve done something! Don’t you realize how stupid this is? How reckless—How—You…!” The brunet cried. He couldn’t even express himself.
“Reckless, Mike? I’m the reckless one?” Chuck finally snapped. “I had no choice! You were going to him willingly! Nearly every night at some point, too!”
[Motorcity Fic] Duke/Mike/Chuck/Rayon - Lasso
Notes: Anyone remember that fic about Duke/Chuck/Rayon? Yeah well, because Mirre commissioned a sequel, I wrote another huge monster of a story. It is both a direct continuation of “Guilt-Ridden Burner” and a standalone fanfic that may or may not be continued. Enjoy! P.S: The song is titled after Phoenix’s “Lasso”.

LASSO

Forever is a long long time
When you lost your way
Trying to follow your ideals (are sorry)
But your so-called life
It is such a waste
When you realize
No you don’t realize
What you say yes to
What you say yes to…

“Didn’t you say you were never coming back?”
“Shut up, Duke.”
Mike pulled the covers over himself and turned away from the blond-brunet next to him. He buried his head in the uselessly fluffy pillows that decorated the Duke’s exquisite bed, hoping to disappear. Of course, the Duke really wasn’t having any of that. A wide toothy grin dressed itself upon his lips and Mike swore he could practically see it even though he had his back turned. He heard the sheets shift and sound of wood creaking. Mike knew the Duke had sat up against the head board.
The Burner shrugged, sinking further into the sheets and into his own thoughts. It’s not like he wanted come back, but he couldn’t help it. There was very little he could do against pent-up frustration besides driving around in Mutt and running to the Duke for rough, mindless sex. The former solution had stopped working, leaving only the latter to save Mike’s dwindling sanity.
