“Death is not the end. It is putting out the candle because the dawn has come.”

—Thomas S. Monson (R.I.P. Sister Monson)

The 1st Presidency is having a really subtle "best child pyro story" competition and no one can convince me otherwise.

  • Christmas Devotional 2012: Pres Uchtdorf tells story of setting living room on fire as a child because he liked the glow of candlelight from behind cloth curtains.
  • April 2013 General Conference: President Monson tells childhood story of setting a prairie fire that took hours to put out because he thought that setting weeds on fire was a good way to get rid of them.
  • October 2013 General Conference: Your move, Pres. Eyring.

Proud member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

“There are some men who, in a spirit of arrogance, think they are superior to women. They do not seem to realize that they would not exist but for the mother who gave them birth. When they assert their superiority they demean her.”

—Gordon B. Hinckley

Friendly reminder that Mormons don’t hate non-Mormons just because they have different beliefs.
