“You Don’t Care,
About me,
Anymore,
Thats why you, you wanna break my heart,
Into pieces on the floor.
If you don’t care,
About me,
Anymore,
why do you, you wanna break my heart,
into pieces on the floor.
You Don’t Care,
About me,
Anymore,
Thats why you, you wanna break my heart. (echo)
I remember when i used to feel something, i remember when i used to feel something.
I remember when i used to feel something, i remember when i used to feel sutin.
I remember when i used to feel something, i remember when i used to feel sutin.
I remember when i used to feel something, now-o-ow-o-ow i’m just cold inside.
I remember when i used to feel something, i remember when i used to feel something.
I remember when i used to feel something, i remember when i used to feel something.
I remember when i used to feel something, i remember when i used to feel something.
I remember when i used to feel something, now-o-ow-o-ow i’m just cold inside.
I remember when i used to feel something, now-o-ow-o-ow i’m just cold inside.
I remember when i used to feel something, now-w-w-w i’m just cold inside.
If you don’t care,
About me,
Anymore,
why do you, you wanna break my heart,
into pieces on the floor.
You Don’t Care,
About me,
Anymore,
Thats why you, you wanna break my heart…
I remember when i used to feel something, now-o-ow-ow i’m just cold inside.
You Don’t Care,
About me,
Anymore,
Thats why you, you wanna break my heart…”
Realizing you are going to see your Best Friend soon:

That moment when you see each other:

Followed by that super awesome “I haven’t seen you in so long” hug,

And you spend blissful days eating all the delicious foods you both love,

You watch super cool shows and generally be made of awesome together:

Then you confirm that you are in fact best friends again… In case there was any doubt,

Then you have even MORE awesome-fun-times:

Then you realize you have to say goodbye:

And when you do you just look sad and then run away,

And then when you are finally alone,

I don’t want to waste your time,
I don’t want to waste your time.
I just want to say -
I’ve got to say,
We worked hard, darling
We don’t have no control
We’re under control
I don’t want to do it your way,
I don’t want to do it your way.
I don’t want to give it to you, your way.
I don’t want to know…
I don’t want to change your mind,
I don’t want to change the world.
I just want to watch it go by.
I just want to watch you go by.
We were young, darling
We don’t have no control
We’re out of control
I don’t want to do it your way,
I don’t want to do it your way.
I don’t want to give it to you, your way.
I don’t want to know…
I don’t want to change your mind,
I don’t want to waste your time.
I just want to know you’re alright.
I’ve got to know you’re alright;
You are young, darling
For now, but not for long
Under control.
1. Chase and Status – O2 Academy – Friday 12th November 2010
The choice of suitable clothing for a Chase and Status gig boils down to either a t-shirt or riot gear. There aren’t many gigs where the mosh pit develops within the first 30 seconds and does not abate until the doors open. The atmosphere in the O2 Academy on Friday night was intense even before the band took to the stage, lots of young people up for the modern day equivalent of a 90’s rave – except nowadays we have tickets, security and a bass-line that could crumble an empire.
Once on stage, Chase was behind his signature C-shaped desk to the left and Status his S-shaped desk to the right with the drummer, under his halo of lights and drums centre-stage and the eternally irritating yet necessary hype man up front. I’m sure there was no doubt in anybody’s mind by the end that their new album No More Idols is out on January 31st next year as he seemed to mention it during every song.
Opening with one of the largest weapons in their arsenal, Smash TV off debut album More Than A Lot, the band powered through well over an hour of forceful drum and bass mixing old tracks with new. Special guests were not in short supply either with Tempa T, Mali, Liam Bailey and Shani Cupcake appearing for respectively ‘Hypest Hype’, ‘Let You Go’, ‘Blind Faith’ and their remix of Nneka’s ‘Heartbeat’. Building up to the earth-shattering finale of ‘Pieces’ when even the most conservative lost control the audience were left with total empathy for the Hype MC’s closing words: “Love, Peace and Drum and Bass”.
