sigh i just want Dean and Cas all tangled up together in bed with Cas his head under Dean’s chin, his nose burrowed against the dip of his collarbone, and with Dean’s face buried in Cas’ hair and the strands tickling his nose. with them both just lying there, their warm bodies fitting together like puzzle pieces. from their heads, to their chests - with one falling as the other rises, sometimes meeting in the middle, sometimes out of rythm - to their joined middles, to the intertwine of their calves, to the soft brush of their toes. breathing each other in.
what if Dean got Cas a cat even when he isn’t very - or at all - thrilled of the very idea of having cat furr all over the bunker and that little meowing (possible) nightmare running around and doing whatever it pleases but he knows it’ll make Cas really happy and he loves Cas so much and who cares if he’s a bit whipped because Cas is totally worth it and Dean is the luckiest man alive to have him and since he has come this far why not take it a few steps further so when he gives Cas the little furball (which actually is kinda cute but Dean’s definitely not saying it) there’s also light blue collar on her, and on it a silver ring, just the size of Cas’ ring finger

Cas was never prepared for the baby. Dean was, of course Dean was. Dean is wonderful with children--it's just one of the many things Cas loves about him. But while Dean was buying toys and painting the room a bright green, whistling and smiling to himself the entire time, Cas was worrying. Worrying because while Dean had yearned to start a family for years, for millions it had never even been a possibility for Castiel. And now he was scared.
They brought her home together, but it was Dean who held her in his arms while Cas drove. Abigail, they’d named her, and whenever she fussed, Dean would hum soothing melodies until she settled down, smiling gently as he did so. It made Cas’ heart ache to see, and when they finally pulled up at home, he reached across the seat and grasped Dean’s hand. Dean looked up at him and smiled. ‘Help me with her?’ he asked, and Cas gulped before nodding.
Cas looked down at the baby in his arms, and then to Dean. Two things he never thought he would ever have, and wouldn't give up for the world. 'Very much,' he whispered to Abigail, and saw the smile Dean directed at him from the corner of his eye, and knew that, even if he was still afraid, this, right here, had to be worth it.

sdklajfdksjfsf OKAY SO CAS HAS BEEN HAVING TROUBLE SLEEPING right like he falls asleep really late and sleeps in all the time bc he can’t sleep at night and he’s been even grumpier than usual and then one day he feels dean touch him and it’s REALLY EARLY and cas is getting ready to yell at dean to go away when he hears a “meow” so cas sits up and THERE’S A KITTY LOOKING AT HIM AND CAS PICKS HIM UP AND STARTS COOING OVER THE KITTY and dean is like i see you guys are liking each other and cas just hugs dean and is like thank you thank you thank you and dean just laughs and KITTYYYY
and he’s clutching at his stomach and trying to control his laughter while at the same time that’s just making everything funnier and wow be quiet martha
Kyra please I can just imagine him in the back seat of the impala laughing at something really obscure b/c Cas has such a weird, offbeat sense of humour. And Sam/Dean are kind of looking at him through the rear view mirror like ‘Cas, what’ and then they start to smile becuase this is the first time they’ve seen him laugh like this, and then they laugh too AND EVERYONE IS LAUGHING AND IT’S REALLY RIDICULOUS.
