Minor life update:

Having lived in Duluth the past few weeks it has been awesome. I love Duluth in the summer its so mild almost everyday and the weather changes everyday. It’s not humid like it is in the cities and for that I’m so glad. I can hear the church bells somedays and the horns of the ships in the harbor and this is something I greatly enjoy. I sit out on my deck with my roommates and this is also great. I’m slowly beginning to draw and write again as my summer classes are coming to an end. (Hooray for my 3 weeks of summer vacation :D…) I have made friends here (finally) that also are living with me so it’s kind of a double bonus. No big.

Jersey Shore? First episode was perfect. Hopefully Sammy isn’t such a downer this season. Yeah, I had to throw that in there. My days consist of going to class from about 8am-10am, then I nap, then I either watch movies, clean or find useless reasons to go places (like going to the grocery store for only oreos and frosting?). Dir en Grey? Their new album Dum Spiro Spero is growing on me. It’s a step further into metal than Uroboros but I still found it to be great. I didn’t like it particularly the first time through but I felt the same way about Uroboros and that album has become one of my favorites. I would say so far my favorites are Diabolos, Juuyoku, Different Sense, Lotus, and Yokusou…”Dreambox.” I bought new shoes, currently on the hunt for more and also some decent pairs of jeans (forgive the materialism, I have two pairs of jeans, that’s all.) I am excited to see my friends back home before I move up here for the year, I miss my friends in the cities and my dog.

Uhh, projects? My goals for the summer is to actually, legitimately, honestly, start one of my stories and see it through; start my comic and try to update my tumblr with art (whenever I get my printer hooked up, probably in early september ladies and gents); get better at art; be more productive; play more video games and finally beat all of the Phoenix Wright games. I’m so close to finishing the first…I haven’t played it in forever. I know, I know.

Here’s part of a science experiment I did. As you can see, Neosporin is effective at inhibiting the growth of Staphylococcus Aureus, so use it on cuts if you don’t want a staph infection. :)

(Google Staph infection. That’s my special present to all of you.)

“How in the hell could a man enjoy being awakened at 8:30 a.m. by an alarm clock, leap out of bed, dress, force-feed, shit, piss, brush teeth and hair, and fight traffic to get to a place where essentially you made lots of money for somebody else and were asked to be grateful for the opportunity to do so? ” ”

~Charles Bukowski

I swear to god, I will never be that type of person. ever.

“Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so that you can afford to live in it.”

—Ellen Goodman

Fuori dall'abitudine, nella monotonia

I’m conducting an experiment which consist in converting my days into 10 cents photocopies.
