#8 - The Breakfast Club
I went into The Breakfast Club with some trepidation. This film is a classic, and as such, it’s been parodied and referenced ad-nausea. I was concerned that while watching it, the story and characters would feel like old-hat… the story would no longer have the same effect as it did when audiences first saw it in the 80’s. I was wrong. Very wrong. This film is nearly flawless in terms of character development, cinematography, and acting. John Hughes is tha John Homie…… I liked the film a lot is what I’m saying.
