twenty years ago the war in Bosnia began. Today they are celebrating their 20 years of surviving it. Here is a photo gallery from TIME. I was there from spring of 1993, on and off, until the NATO bombings in late August/September 1995. For those that lost their lives, I only feel profound sadness.
