NINE/ROSE, ROSE MAKES CUPCAKES
“Do they have sprinkles on them?”
“Yes, they’ll have sprinkles on them.”
“What about frosting. Rose are you putting frosting on them?”
“What’s gonna keep the spinkles on ‘em if I don’t have frosting? Now go away!” Rose put her flour-covered hands on her hips and glared at the Doctor, who glared right back. Jack laughed at the pair and pulled the Doctor out of the room.
It was some time later that Rose came into the console room carrying a tray filled with cupcakes. She handed one with a tiny cursive “Captain” written on top in frosting to Jack and one with banana yellow frosting and a pink sprinkle heart on top to the Doctor. Taking it from her the Doctor kissed her cheek and took a big bite.
“It’s perfect,” he said, smiling hugely at Rose.
