WHAT'S GOING ON WITH THE INTERNET

How does MGID work?

Am I missing something, or is anyone else interested in why this website is censoring any outside information about what it is or how it functions .

From what I’ve been able to discern, its a “traffic exchanger” that claims to increase traffic on blogs and websites by using popups. You’ve seen the “compelling articles” which anybody with half a brain can tell are completely fake. It traps people into a chain of endless websites with little snippets of articles using generic taunts like They Tried to Ban This Video But Here It Is! and ridiculous other headings combined with sexualized pop culture pictures to eventually link you to a blog. This is how they “increase your blogs traffic by 15-300%”. What exactly is Traffic Exchange? Try to find any information on the subject which wasn’t written by these guys.

They claim to perform this service at no cost to you but how is this process profitable?

Say you click on their article labeled Bermuda Triangle: New anomalous phenomenon discovered  sounds interesting enough. So you follow the link to a russian “news” site and get a lengthy article about the life cycle of bacteriophages that reads like it came out of a tenth grade biology text book, all the while submitting yourself to numerous other “compelling article” headings. What I find odd is I haven’t followed all these strange links to any websites that aren’t obviously controlled by whatever is at the top of this.

A google search yields a suprising lack of information save some very creepy and clearly fabricated testimonials

Take a look at these:

They use ellipses/emoticons/lack of grammar to convince you that they’re real, just like those annoying tumblr spammers.

Mgid claims that it uses patent-pending technology, but what exactly does it DO?

Oh, and take a look at their “Core Values”  this is some messed up Veridian type shit.

Google haS to take seriously MGID

All I came to know was google took some serious steps , like banning MGID , & introducing new techniques to deal with such fake traffic, but what about other sites , are they not taking any steps , …

MGID is dangerous for normal society

Using Mgid for creating traffic can become dangerous at a point of time. Think what will happen it you get caught while creating web traffic. It is very dangerous for children, has low balance ratings from other sites, as the business owners has been covering their information.
