though i found out about him through pedro the lion, he’s also played in/worked with: crystal skulls, sufjan stevens, richard swift, my brightest diamond, jeremy enigk, damien jurado, rocky votolato, tw walsh, throw me the statue, john vanderslice, ester drang, etc. point: you likely already own a record or two featuring his work..
this, however, would be him at his very best.
i don’t exactly remember when i first heard this, but i do know that i was singing along with every word within a week or two. it’s immediate, yet timeless.
more recently, he’s been working with asthmatic kitty and their library music catalog series, contributing both music for measurements and music for drums.

If you’re Northern Hemisphere, the Geminid meteor shower will be peaking tonight and early tomorrow morning! This is awesome because METEOR SHOWER and also because it’s a New Moon, so that won’t be an obstruction! YAY!
