This article stands out to me a lot for many reasons:

1. Someone I care about has been in this hospital.
2. Someone I know works in this hospital.
3. I have lost someone I know to suicide.
4. I am trying to become a psychologist to fight the battle of mental health and the increase in suicide rates.

I hope one day I can help support those in need of direction. I hope I can make a difference in someones life and I hope that I never lose focus on helping the person and not making them a statistic!

I hope I never think of my patients as just a number, they are humans and they deserve the time, patience, focus and care as a human and not just as a number in my file.  

I hope I never lose my passion to help people due to over working or stress. I hope I stay strong but more than that, I hope I can be Great at helping.
