I’ve been looking for an excuse to get more writing done, and I had a thought.  There are many, many people who write these read-along blogs of Homestuck.  There are some that do them blind as they read through for the first time, and others that do retrospectives, and it gave me an idea.  There is a comic.  It is the first webcomic I ever started reading.  It’s not necessarily a great comic, but I still read it out of habit if nothing else, and I wonder what it would be like to go back and read it with my modern sensibilities. 

What comic am I speaking of?

Yeah.  I started reading in my sophomore year of high school.  2002.  Literally a decade ago.  I had… well, much lower standards back then, and I thought it was the coolest thing since animes.  So, I’m thinking going back and giving it a re-read from beginning to end might be an entertaining endeavor.  I’ll be starting a second Tumblr for it, and I’ll let you know once I get started.  Just gotta come up with a name…

I REALLY should stop reading Megatokyo

I don’t even know what the hell is going on anymore, like….what the heck Fred? YOU STOPPED MAKING SENSE 3 YEARS AGO.

So, since I got a summer job that’s paying something like 100 dollars a week I decided that I was going to get my Homestuck stuff and something from the megagear store. I even went and set it all up.

1st:

Hero of Breath shirt, Hero of Blood shirt, Heir of breath picture (maybe), Sufferer Necklace, Dave’s broken record shirt = $ 100 or $ 85 depending on the picture

2nd:

Homestuck books 1 and 2, Spirograph Sprite necklace, Jake’s Green Skull tee = $ 78

3rd:

Homestuck music vol 1-4, Homestuck music vol 5, b4k4^2 hoodie = $ 64.08

I think it sounds like a pretty good plan! I just need MOM to approve it. Or DAD. Either one of them will do, as long as the plan get approved. And that’s just what I want to do with the first three weeks of my summer pay. 0w0
