Dia FramptonI remember the first time I listened to Meg and Dia. It was when I stumbled across their Myspace page back in like ‘04? I loved them from their first track. Their voices are raw and their songs still take up most of my itunes library. They’re Something Real album is actually what got me through the plane ride moving from New York to Houston. I fell out of interest with them somewhere during high school but then I heard THIS song the other day and it’s like, woah, Dia Frampton is <3
There are times where I’m feeling like I’ve lost all control. And I’m talking about a year or more. And I remember when I was a kid and it was simple. I couldn’t ask for more. And I was heading down the straight and narrow, but then the devil pulled me in by my elbows. He gently removed my blindfold. I said “Don’t show me more.”

“I’ve got my words. I hope they hurt you. I hope they scar you. I hope they heal you. I hope they cut you open, make you see you’ve been warring for all the wrong reasons. Make you see that some things are worth bruising for. Make you see that your name is your honor code. Make you see that your hands you’re accounted for. Pick and choose where your sweat and your blood will go. Make you see your life’s not to be lived alone. Run their spit through your hair, you’re worth nothing. Nothing.”
