Now that I have a job and some spare cash should I get Marvel Unlimited? Do any of my followers have it and have an opinion? Or tried it and have an opinion. I’m thinking of trying the one month option but I want to get some opinions first.

?

THEY FIXED IT, THEY FIXED IT!

Yay! I have my Marvel account back! =D

Bring on all the comics!

Today is a great day for digital comics subscribers!

If anybody has been on the fence about subscribing to the MDCU, now called Marvel Unlimited, you should really check out the new app!  I slipped home at lunch to give it a try and I’m super impressed :D  I was excited enough back in December (as some of you may remember) when the beta went up for iOS compatibility, but having an actual app is quite the improvement!!!   The interface is very user friendly and feels a lot like the regular Marvel app. Additionally, the load time seemed faster than it did on the web platform.  Can’t wait to play with it further this evening, but I must get back to work now ~_^

So... I got a subscription to Marvel Unlimited.

Me gusta. My only problem is that there isn’t a kindle app, but I’m making do.

However, my biggest problem is that I get a little confused because I don’t know where to start. I started with X-Men, but clearly there are things I haven’t read so I get extra extra confused and ksdjfasdfhaskf ugh.

Where would you start if you could? Any character, any comic, whatever. Where would you recommend to start, to get the best basic understanding of where things are going? Or is it just best to pick up somewhere and eventually it’ll all make sense?

Life is still good. =)

It’s nice to have so many good things to write about for a change. =)

I have made plans for Comic Con on Saturday. We’re going for 9am so I’m getting up at 6.30, picking the guys up, we’re heading into town for breakfast at McDonald’s and then it’s off to the train station for COMIC CON! =D It’s gonna be epic. It’ll also be the first day out for my new backpack. I’m gonna try not to spend too much as I need money for London in April…Fat chance, haha!

Also I have gone a little Marvel mad lately… My Marvel Unlimited subscrpition is up and working and it’s freaking amazing! Although the reader on my phone is a little lame and back dated compared with the awesome one they have for just the regular Marvel digital comics. I signed up for the Marvel MMO coming out soon, subcribed to the Marvel Fact File weekly thing. (I think it’s for kids but it looks awesome and eventually comes with an Iron Man statue! =3) Oh, and I just booked my midnight ticket to go see Iron Man 3 in 3D on the 25th! Yay!

I realise this is a little over the top but it makes me happy and takes my mind off all the other crap going on. Plus it gives me a whole new world of people to interact with, which is awesome!

Comics Conspiracies

Anyone else find it a bit curious that Marvel effectively crashed comiXology a week after relaunching “Marvel Unlimited,” their proprietary digital comics platform?

Ugh. I want Marvel Unlimited so badly, but I have no tablet.

Neither do I? I’m using my laptop and it’s working fine.

I think it’s a good buy tbh, reasonably priced for basically nearly all the back catalogue, but the reader is a bit buggy on some older comics

Got some good news in my inbox today. Marvel Unlimited is now available on Android.

For those of you that don’t know what Marvel Unlimited is, it is a subscription based service that gives you access a bunch of Marvel’s back catalogue. You pay for it monthly, or pay for a year, and get a discount.
