Top five asoiaf moments!
here’s me trying to make them not 100% Sansa :’)
- Sansa Stark escaping from King’s Landing (like, p much the whole chapter but), everything in it makes me cry. A lot. Esp her thought process, laughing and crying hysterically when she realizes he’s really dead, keeping the hairnet, climbing down to the little boat. “Is it all lies forever and ever everyone and everything?” It’s all so awful and emotional but I love how intensely you get into Sansa’s head in that moment so ;__; yeah.
- Theon Greyjoy jumping off the walls of Winterfell with Jeyne. IDEK man, again with the whole thought process before the actual jump it was great.
- Red Wedding, because wow that was probably the best written chapter GRRM has ever. I feel awful for putting this up but that was really a HUGE TABLE TURNING MOMENT and I think it def lived up to its hype (I spoiled myself for it bc I don’t like not knowing what’s going to happen). AT EVERYTHING CAT THINKS EVERYTHING CAT SEES AND DACEY AND JINGLEBELL and wow. I cried, ngl, and I still get teary whenever I see Cat’s last thoughts passage on its own.
- “Or maybe my brother will give me your head.” Moment that cemented Sansa in my heart as “my poor favorite bb”.
- There’s this one point I saved on my GOT reread that I’ve been thinking about a lot lately (since my GOT reread was like a month ago). Ned takes Sansa and Arya to the godswood in KL to pray for Bran, and Sansa and Arya eventually fall asleep next to Ned and it’s just really sweet. And look its p much the only happy one on this list. Also Sansa wakes up at one point and says she “dreamed of Bran smiling” and ugh. Stark sisters + Ned moments were too few IMO (same with Cat + Stark sisters tbh) (Starks as a happy family in general).
- Extra special mention for Sansa watching that knight die at the tourney, Sansa saving Dontos, Sansa at Blackwater, Sansa building her castle of snow, Sansa and Sweetrobin, and also Sansa.

• Favorite MV they’re in: lol dream girl is the only time i have approved of his mv styling, but i love the sherlock vid bc it is accidentally hilarious & i love the dance forever (+JESSICA)
• Something I like about them: HA that he managed to piss off the whole internet thrice in one week & was cute while doin’ it
• An opinion I have about this person that’s changed: i think i didn’t care about onew for like a week after discovering shinee, but when i watched hello baby and his awkward interactions w yoogeun, i knew it was meant to be. we are 1. and then i watched his every appearance on star golden bell……….

- my favorite female character: Scarlett O’Hara, baddest bitch on the block, a character study designed so flawlessly I’m convinced Margaret Mitchell received aid from the divine; if you don’t come away from the book thinking Melanie was the hero you’re wrong, but Scarlett is just a truly amazing character. She’s her own fully formed human and you don’t have any delusions about her lack of morality. She stands on her own, she’s never needed a reader to fill her in, but she can still work as a funhouse mirror, a distortion of your own flaws. At this point I don’t know if I get more emotional about her (fictional) existence or her technical construction.
- my favorite male character: Rhett, for being openly rogueish and honest in a book where everyone is putting on a front. Accept no substitute dudes (though I do like Will Benteen, even though I can never remember his name)
- my favorite book/season/etc: Well, I mean, I prefer the book.
- my favorite episode (if its a tv show): n/a
- my favorite cast member: I don’t know much about the cast at all!
- my favorite ship: Rhett/Scarlett til I die. (we could’ve had it allllllll/but you loved a fantasyyyyyyyy)
- a character I’d die defending: SCARLETT, I WROTE MY COMMON APP ESSAY ABOUT YOU SCARLETT, AS GOD AS MY WITNESS THEY’RE NOT GONNA LICK MEEEEEEE
- a character I just can’t sympathize with: fuckin’ Ashley, man.
- a character I grew to love: Well, it’s set up to pit Scarlett and Melanie against each other, right? So I was iffy about Mellie before everything went down but then “You killed him. I’m glad you killed him.” And by the end you are crying.
- my anti otp: Scarlett/Ashley like please gag me with my own fingers
