Malling || Jude and Ember

Jude got dressed quickly, as he was hanging out with Ember that night. At least he wasn’t moping around the house as usual. He also wanted to ask her about the kiss at prom and what the hell it had meant. He didn’t want to be in a relationship. He just wanted to be friends and he hoped that Ember would understand that. Quickly, he got into his car and drove to her house, turning on the radio as he did so. The wind felt nice against his face as the roof of his convertible was down and he loved the smell of the air after rain. Jude was simply learning to appreciate the little things in life because some of the big things were confusing. He texted Ember that he was outside.
