Juniper/Fennel
Neither of them had been alien to falling asleep in their lab, that was simply a part of the scientific endeavor. Nonetheless there was a certain charm to watching Juniper’s head dip in an unbreakable, yet painfully slow, descent to her desk through the tiny screen of the Xtransciever. She knew she wasn’t far off, so she just enjoyed it while she could.

Last night on completely wacky dreams with Lyra:
- Get pulled over on way to museum because I was texting Nikko
- There’s like six other cars pulled over so I have to go around them and eventually pull into a fast food parking lot to get out of the way
- in the mean time the cops start think I’m trying to evade arrest
- Brendan decides that he wants to go in and get some food while I get my ticket
- he of course gets shoved back into the car by the cops who assume he’s trying to evade them too
- Then Ma calls
- I tell her I can’t talk right now
- “well why not”
- “well because I’m getting a speeding ticket”
- really loud lecture ensues
- cops feel so bad for me about her unending screaming they let me go with a warning after checking my ID and stuff
- Later, potentially unrelated dream, cassarole with Carly, Apple, and a few other friends at my folks’ house
- I know they were there because I was showing them my dorky ass pictures from when I was like 5
- At some point in time Carly just falls asleep in her chair midsentence
- I treat this as completely normal for her
- Ma proceeds to spend rest of evening insisting she only did it to get out of helping with dishes
- Later I find Apple in the basement playing with my lincoln logs
