Time Traveling with Magic Jake

To see King Tuff live is to journey back to a reckless and fun garage dance party. One part scraggly hair, one part beat up Converse kicks and lots of jumping around. Of course, the King Tuff experience would not be complete without Magic Jake, who plays bass and offers sweet 70s vibes.

After multiple run ins and conversations about ‘Land Before Time’ over root beer and blue Gatorade, we knew Magic Jake was like no other. We caught up with him to talk the story behind his legendary name, being a crazy kid, life in Detroit and making music. Hilarity and many emojis ensued.
