I [Ain't] Got Rhythm

Well, that’s not exactly true, but I can’t really dance.

What brought this on? Well, in my Intro to Music Ed class, the teacher wanted to get a feel for our teaching style. What we had to teach didn’t really matter, just so long as it could be taught in 7-10 minutes. (Before you ask, yes. I taught a group of college males how to make macreme jewelry. Mwahahahaha.)

Well, one fella decided to teach us how to dance. We learned the Catdaddy?? the Bernie, and the Jerk.

Yeah…. I couldn’t do them. I felt ridiculous, I looked ridiculous. It was very sad. A friend of mine says I suffer from CRD (Caucasion Rhythm Defficiencey) NOT TRUE. I can dance if it’s choreographed, or just swaying, or freestyle. I just… Can’t do these weird jumping/bendy stuff.

I used to know how to samba. I CAN ALMOST KIND OF SAMBA. So there.
