I don’t like talking about the songs I write that much. Maybe because I like people to have their own interpretation and attachment to it. But with this one it’s a little different. This song has been half written for about six and a half months and yesterday I managed to finish it, I suppose looking back on the situation when I first started writing it and seeing how things finished gave me a new outlook on how to finish the song. I suppose it’s a sad song, and sense of “leaving” comes across very strongly, ANYWAY I don’t want to sound like Taylor Swift, but here you go, a song written by Ava Mac called don’t forget to switch the house lights off.
