she appealed to a dalek’s humanity. YES. A DALEK’S HUMANITY. (she gave it a bit of that, but still) He was lonely, and she stopped it from killing anymore. She was willing to stay trapped in the vault and DIE to save everyone, but instead, she talked to it, and helped it reach sunlight. She stopped the doctor from killing it. Made him realize what he was doing.

Literally one of the most threatening aliens in all of Doctor Who-dom and Rose Tyler not only stood up to it, but saved others from it, and helped the dalek AND the doctor ALL AT THE SAME TIME

so don’t give me that ‘oh she’s so whiny and useless and just arm candy’ crap.
