Rin sighed, shoving his hands deep into his pockets, trying to warm them up. He wore a scarf, and his tail was tucked up into his shirt, wrapping around his torso as usual. He shivered in his coat, which was odd, considering his body temperature was now warmer than usual, but nonetheless, he was still somewhat cold. He then stopped, and sniffed, and turned around, raising an eyebrow, “Hello?” he called out. He knew he sensed and smelled someones presence, but couldn’t quite tell whose it was.

Kadie sat alone in her cabin on the couch just staring at the tv, bored. She’d already clicked through probably every channel and nothing seemed to interest her. She sighed and looked out the window. It was snowing, as it had been since yesterday, and she realized she had yet to take a walk on her own in it yet. She loved to take walks alone sometimes to just think about things. So she threw on her jacket, scarf, and wool hat and trudged out into the cold.
She began walking with no real direction and just thought. And it didn’t surprise her that the one thing she couldn’t keep her mind off of was Landon. She’d only felt this way about one other person. And she loved it. She loved that her skin tingled for an hour after his touch had left it. She loved that his eyes were so clear green that coordinated with his messy hair perfectly. She loved the smile he got when they were together.
And before she even knew it, she had ended up at Landon’s door. She smiled to herself. Oh Kadie. You’ve got it bad. She thought. She laughed a little and knocked.
