Pointless World
What are we here for? Are we here to spend all are life forced into school,to do pointless jobs that do not nothing but make the human race more pointless? To borrow money from banks that make it impossible to pay back? No. None of these things are what we were put here for.
“You’re not your job. You’re not how much money you have in the bank. You’re not the car you drive. You’re not the contents of your wallet. You’re not your fucking khakis.” -Tyler Durden.
Your life has no meaning, you go to school for years to do a job that you dont really like that much.In debt trying to pay off your schooling with your job that you dont make enough money at.Food, housing(+gas, water, electric, garbage bills),clothing, entertainment(anything that helps keep you sane),car (car payment, car insurance, car maintenance, petrol).
Everyone wants to have a family and raise kids right? It costs so much to make sure your family eats, is clothed, has a roof over their heads, has the things they need for their lives to be started. How is a person in today’s world suppose to do these kinds of things with the jobs their are today?
I have looked for work for over two years with no luck, I have come up with two decisions to my problem.
A.Go to culinary school, take out a loan, go into crazy debt to do something I have a real love and passion for.
B.Liquidate all my assets buy a large diesel van to be my car/home, make my own fuel, grow my own foods and establish myself off the grid in a place I would love to be.Meet my soul mate fall in love, have children and eventually build myself a home out of shipping containers to keep the cost down and have my home fully sustained under its own power.
If I have my way I will go with B. live happy, be happy and live a peaceful life. But their is no way the Government would let that happen, they want me where they can make money off of me, to make sure Im doing what they want me to do,for the “greater good”.I am not happy with this world we live in,the things we think we need. The houses, the clothes, the jewelry, the drugs, foods we think are healthy, the technology. I would gladly give up everything I own and take only what I need to live in this kind of world.Just because we make newer cars, smart phones, computers does not meen we are stepping forward and making the world a better place. The world is crumbling around us,animals and plants going extinct, war everywhere for no reason other than stupidity. their is only one way to change the world, and that is to change the people. The way they think and act, and to teach them what we actually need in life to be happy.
I have ranted on long enough about the things I have been thinking about,I think constantly about the world and how awful it is and maybe you can think about our planet and the life that inhabits it and what you could do to better it.
Goodnight,
B.T.M.
Is living off the Grid now a crime?
offgridsurvival.com![]()
Government officials across the country are forming so called “nuisance abatement teams” to intimidate people into giving up their land or conforming to the governments demands and hooking back into the grid. Counties across the country are actually jailing people for living the way they want to live.
I was alerted to this video by a reader and was troubled and sickened by what the poor people in the California Desert are being forced to deal with. From being threatened with jail time if they don’t hook back into the grid to being thrown in jail because the county didn’t like the look of their homes, the people in the deserts of Los Angeles County are being terrorized by their government.
It’s a sad day when living off your own land becomes a crime. Please spread the word.
Powering aTiny House, Off the Grid with a Portable Solar Generator
tiny-themovie.com“Perhaps one of my favorite things about our tiny house (other tan falling asleep to the sound of rain on a steel roof) is that it is entirely off the grid.”
Christopher and I are both environmentalists of sorts, having spent chunks of our lives studying, researching, and telling stories about humans’ interactions with our natural resources and waste. Part of this tiny house experiment has always been about learning to lessen our own impact…

Now is your chance to flee society. Drop off the grid. Pull a Thoreau. Be you a survivalist, an environmentalist or a cheapskate-ist, you can join the growing movement of Americans embracing off-grid living.
“There’s a desire to step out of the rat race, and in America, that goes very deep in the national psyche,” says Nick Rosen, author of “Off the Grid: Inside the Movement for More Space, Less Government, and True Independence in Modern America” and editor of www.off-grid.net. “You know, the pioneering spirit and sturdy self-reliance — these things which define the American character.”
For some off-griders, it’s a matter of having little or no impact on the environment — literally living off the power grid.
So if you’ve been considering going AWOL, let tax day be your inspiration. And if you’ve got what it takes to look after yourself, with a little help from some earthy friends, here are a few off-the-grid destinations that will take you in. Or perhaps you’d like to drop in for a visit …
