Gloria Estefan Signs on to Reality TV

Gloria Estefan is taking a page out of her husband Emilio Estefan’s book (he’s currently producing the Spanish TV show Dale Con Ganas) and getting into the reality game. The Queen of Latin Pop will be a mentor on the new talent competition, The Star Next Door, launching this summer.Country star John Rich is also set to mentor and Queen Latifah is serving as producer.

Between riding the wave of her latest album, Little Miss Havana, and this new television project, Mrs. Estefan is sure to have a busy 2012. Oh, and how can we forget, she’s set to appear on an upcoming episode of Glee as Santana’s mother!
