**NOTE** I do NOT and I repeat, DO NOT, condone the act of littering. If you live in a clean city like Toronto, you should be proud of that fact and try your best to keep your city so fresh and so clean, no OutKast. But! I am a realist, and I can confidently say that, on occasion, one will be faced with the dilema of having some trash to discard with no properly labeled receptacle to place said garbage in. So with that being said, I give you “#placing” - the civil way to litter (tweetable).  

Most people, at some point in their enlightened and environmentally conscious stage of living, have seen someone litter something, and as a result, become extreme livid with that culprit. A sighted action that usually leads to a potential verbal or, in rare cases, physical altercation. A McDonalds bag thrown out the window of a moving car. A pop can thrown to the ground mid stride. A sandwich wrapper chucked at a garbage can with horrendous aim. etc. And I really don’t care how “green” you are now, we’ve all littered something at some point in our lives. So you really can’t get too high and mighty on these litterers. So here’s a scenario and then a solution:
