Enjoy your search for the perfect slice.

fourth-of-five answered: Lil Frankie’s on First Ave near 1st. Gruppo on Avenue B near 12th. Gemma at Bowery Hotel, Bowery and 3rd St.

glutenfreeandthecity answered: For vegan/gluten-free, its Viva Herbal at 179 2nd ave.

 morganwinn answered: Luzzo’s and/or Motorino

pray4mojo answered: Sal’s Pizzeria. Always ended up waking up after a night of drinking with a pie in the kitchen.

empirestatebuildingpictures answered: Nino’s - 8th & A. Haven’t tried Artichoke, but don’t like Artichokes or Crab, which seem to be what get the stars.

 teresawu answered: Artichoke Basilles OMG

 sternocleidomastoid answered: Artichoooooooke

 mikelikestosleep answered: Artichoke, Iggy’s

chfdigital answered: They won’t win your snap poll, but Gruppo Pizza on Avenue B is an absolutel underrated gem.

 deadlanguageblog answered: motorino.

jdel answered: Favorite has to be either Two Boots or Ray’s on St Marks & 3rd.

My vote in the best pie category goes to Luzzo’s Diavola (Spicy Salami) Pizza.

Sadly, still not sold on any one slice in particular.

Neighborhood Finds: Lil' Frankie's Pizza

While visiting friends in NY, my city aficionado and fellow foodie, Ed, took me to one of his favourite Village spots called Lil’ Frankie’s. Located in a super chic section of the Village (nestled right next to EVR, for those in “the know”), Lil’ Frankie’s is everything you want an authentic, but trendy neighborhood eatery to be. To die for fresh tastes, friendly and knowledgeable servers, great wine, and a fun but cozy ambiance. I definitely recommend grabbing some friends and going if you dwell in NYC, or stopping by for a treat if you’re visiting.

About Lil’ Frankies
“Italy’s neighorhood pizzeria’s are known as really casual places to hang out, meet friends, eat, drink and talk. Lil’ Frankie’s is just that. We offer real Neapolitan pizza, made exactly as it’s made in Naples, fresh handmade pastas cooked to order, a wine and grappa list that rivals any in the city, and friendly (never pushy) service - all in a setting designed to make you feel at home.” - About Lil’ Frankie’s
