(/loosens his tie before turning the car off. the street is virtually empty- he’s probably the only one who comes home at seven in this neighborhood- but it stirs a feeling inside him that he doesn’t quite understand. the house lights are on and from his position in the car, he can HoSooks bike lying next to the bushes. this is third time this week she’s forgotten to put it away. he smiles a little, getting out of the car and making his way up the door, keys in hand)
(/it smells like burnt cookies and kibum shrugs his jacket off, hanging it in the closet and toeing his shoes off in the general direction of the shoe basket. somewhere in the distance he hears the sound of singing- from all three of the other people living in the house and he’s struck with a moment of corniness) Honey~ I’m home! - Alex: Jade?
- Jade: Alexander?
- Alex: Do you remember that day you fell outta my window?
- Jade: I sure do ‒ you came jumping right out after me.
- Alex: Well, you fell on the concrete, nearly broke you ass, you were bleeding all over the place, I rushed you out to the hospital, you remember that?
- Jade: Yes, I do.
- Alex: ell there's something I never told you about that night
- Jade: What didn't you tell me?
- Alex: Well, while you were sitting in the back seat smoking a cigarette you thought was gonna be your last, I was falling deep, deep in love with you, and I never told you till just now!

Darling can you hear me can you open up your eyes
And see that every move I make is a dance just for your gaze
That every single action is a means not to an end
An opposite reaction to the diffidence we claim
So paint me, take me, hate me, claim me make me something more
Something better than the black and white that coloured me before
I want to feel your body and your hands upon my chest
To feel my emptiness
So bury me beneath the pines
In the shallow soil
In the filth and grime
And still this heart will yearn for you
So I’ve hatched upon a plan, a scheme of dervish wit
A pilot light to guide me through the caverns of your heart
I take this knife upon myself and gouge a shallow track
Until you love me back
So bury me beneath the pines
In the shallow soil
In the filth and grime
And still this heart will yearn for you
