^^^ lyrics to “Last Breath” by the plain white t’s. Is really weird, this verse (most of it anywa) relates so closely to something i’ve wanted to say for a very long time. I go back to uni this weekend, and dont come back till easter, and i was down my track and field club, and someone i have a fair bit of history with came to see me, because she hadn’t seen me since christmas and wouldn’t see me to easter etc etc. and we get on really well, regardless of our history and on the way home i was sitting just thinking about her/everything, how i miss how we use to be, and then it hit me, the lyrics to this song said it perfectly “….you’re some where between the girl of my dreams and the girl of my nightmares, and its not fair, cause im nothing but good to you and your nothing but wrong for me” we’ve tried and us failed big time, but theres still a sense of unknowing and “could it, would it work” between us but this song reminds me that shes wrong for me and it doesn’t work. Dont get me wrong, im still really good friends with this girl and i like it that way but this realisation has finally allowed me “to rest” and cleard up this whole situation for me, just because of this song, weird huh
