as much as summer lovers like myself want to take a warm day like today and act fanatical with a short skirt and tank, lighter fabric versions of more spring-appropriate pieces like these loose cotton pants and light jean shirt make you look seasonally suited, while still able to celebrate the sunny change.

i’m so excited clog season is back. i found these Olof Daughters pair on eBay last year for like $40 and despite walking on a block of wood, they are surprisingly wearable.

like last week, i took a few staycation days off in the middle of the week. i dyed my hair, cleaned the apartment, caught up on oprah and raided my sisters closet; one key find was this tank from The Box — its like a refined wife beater and its looseness in all the right places makes it a perfect to tuck into pants, shorts and skirts alike. can’t wait for this warm weather trend to continue! xoxo.

Wearing: Layered Knits

wearing: turtleneck: Forever 21, jean button-up: Land’s End, cape sweater: Forever 21, jeans: Levi’s, desert boots: Indigo by Clarks, satchel: purchased in china, earrings: Crossroads, bracelets: H&M and Forever 21, shellac nails: CND in ‘Tropix.’

this weekend i found myself in these very jeans and after a seemingly-endless skirt and dress kick, i was ready to bring back my favorite Levi’s for the workweek. add on tons of warm layered knits and desert boots and i’m just about as comfortable as can be!

i had sooo much fun at the Amsale and The Odd Slipper events last night. i can’t wait to get myself un-buried with email so i can share what i saw and loved! xoxo.
