Frankly, it’s a nice idea. It really is. I’d love it if everyone did that.
But here’s the thing. Nobody does No-Shave-November for those reasons.Exactly one person I know who is doing NSN even knows that it was supposed to be for cancer awareness or fundraising. I didn’t even know that until the day I posted this. People do it because, hey, look at how much easier it is not to shave for an entire month! Beards! How fun!How much simpler it is not to shave!
And that’s great. Go right ahead. Don’t shave. I frankly couldn’t give fewer fucks. What I do give fucks about is when womentry to participate(because why shouldn’t they, hmm?) andget pointed out and shamed. Or, hell, when women decide they want to just not shave at all ever (which is alsototally fineI cannot stress this enough). ANYONE SHOULD BE ABLE TO SHAVE OR NOT SHAVE WHENEVER THEY WANT. Also I noticed your language: “the money guys use on shaving material” - believe it or not, girls shave. They shave a lot (except for the ones that don’t, which is, like I said, totally fine). Maybe try cutting them a little slack first?
