Day of nonstop eating and gorgeous weather. Dim sum for lunch. Got the custard bun things. The first batch was cold and the custard didn’t exactly ooze out of the pastry like how it’s described. We ended up getting a replacement order cause we complained to the waiter. Stuffed my face with 3 of them… Omg. Saw Kristi Yamaguchi again at Costco cause she was there to sign her second children’s book. Didn’t buy it this time cause I already got the first book and a picture with her last time, haha. Maybe the only reason she signs books at our Costco is cause we no longer have a legit book store in the near vicinity. Stuffed my face again for dinner. Now I’m about to fall into a food coma and my stomach is about to burst.

    Throwback Thursday

The Portland sports stars of my youth - minus the obvious outlier (Tonya Harding), even with time I can confidently say that these were some worthy athletic heroes.

Got a chance to meet Kristi Yamaguchi during her book signing at the Grove! It was so much fun getting a chance to meet one of American figure skating’s legends! I have been recently obsessed with Kurt Browning’s TV Special “Casablanca” featuring Kristi as Madame X. My favorite part is the train station scene when Kurt and Kristi are throwing double axels before the train leaves :) Anyways, meeting her was a very inspirational experience! :D (hopefully it wasn’t a once-in-a-lifetime experience *fingers crossed*)
