Also I totally called a lot of stuff including:
Avatar Korra. And it was epic and then it ended.
We all knew Amon was a bender but his back story I was expecting something that had to do with Yakone but…
ALSO I totally knew Amon was going to be awesome how could he not be with Steve Blum’s voice. When he took off the mask I can’t even. I don’t care what anyone says I love Noatak (and Tarrlok) because reasons. I basically cried.
Also they finally made Mako freaking badass! Yes!
Though I think this episode would have been better without all the mushy stuff. Happened too fast not as much development as I would have expected.
Actually a lot of stuff happened really fast I hope book 2 has more development.
Also props to mustache guy.
And Iroh is a freaking jet pack! So much win.
And Bolin! Bolin I love you!
And LIN! yes. I also called it not being permanent.
OMG Bumi! yessss I can’t even. He is exactly what I wanted him to be. I’m so happy. Shortest cameo ever but he is basically my favorite. Also Tenzin’s face haha I love everything.
I am not going back to reality for a while.
Airbender Family Headcanon: They all unanimously decide to go back for Lin
Tenzin stared ahead at the clouds as his memories and his thoughts went around in circles. He was looking at the clouds, but all he saw was Lin’s regretful yet determined eyes as she looked them all over once more before shooting off toward the airships. All he thought about was seeing that burst of blue light in the distance as one airship fell from the sky and the other turned back around. As if it had gotten what it had come for.
He closed his eyes and sighed. She’d told them not to turn back no matter what happened to her and he wanted to respect her wish so that it was not in vain. After all, when she jumped off Oogi, she had essentially decided that she was completely willing to sacrifice her freedom, her bending, and even her life for his family.
But his guilty conscience was clawing away at him as he flew further and further away until finally, he made up his mind. Looking back at his family, he abruptly announced, “As soon as we reach safety, I’m going back to save her.”
“Tenzin, I know how much Lin means to you, but you can’t. You’re one of the last few Airbenders out there and you’re one of Amon’s prime targets. If you go back there…” Pema began fretfully, and Tenzin nodded.
“I know, Pema, but I’m sorry. After all she’s done for our family—”
