Though Julian was still decidedly Not Happy about being trapped in Ohio for a week, he could admit that maybe Carmen had a point about needing a break. Being dropped in the middle of nowhere was annoying – because seriously? Ohio? Couldn’t it have been Greece or something? – but, he supposed it had its charms.
The forest, for example, was amazing.
Julian had been rather excited once he realized that the surprisingly nice hotel he was staying in had a large stretch of forest behind it – even, he’d found after asking the receptionist, a small lake a ways into the trees. He’d come at what he thought was the best time of the season, when it was nearly always overcast. Rain, therefore, was nearly guaranteed.
omg that reminds me I watched Wreck it Ralph again today and I noticed that when King Candy hacks into the game code of Sugar Rush the instructions to get in are written on a napkin from Tappers
it made me think like after his game got unplugged he went to Tappers (as Turbo, maybe in disguise or something idk) and got into a conversation with someone from Sugar Rush and they were drunk or something and let slip how to get into the code
I had this image of Vanellope getting really punch drunk off root beer cuz she’s got that crazy type personality and telling him how to get in and it’s all her own fault that he hacked the code and she doesn’t remember it
just putting that out there cuz I thought it was cool
