Kids Interview Bands, Uh-dorable.
I first became aware of Chip Midnight (real last name, folks) through posts on Columbus-based music blog, donewaiting.com, where Chip’s genuine, irony-free enthusiasm for the unhip side of hair metal is just really refreshing. In his own words, Chip “fell in love” with Rock’n’Roll around the same time kids have their first grade school crushes and has been interviewing bands since 1991…so I think it’s pretty cute that his young daughter and her friend have picked up the torch and set out to interview as many bands as possible as they pass through the state of Ohio. Here are the girls interviewing Dick Valentine of Electric Six.
