Over a year ago Gov Scott Walker was having some boy scout christmas shindig in the Wisconsin Capitol. My 11 year old friend Emma snuck down to where he was doing his photo op. He told her that today wasn’t about the recall so she put a recall walker poster on his arm and retreated. He became republicannoyed.
Today's Happiness
Today I took care of children and one of the mother’s was there for her child development class, but her daughter was also in the class and when she had to leave her daughter began to cry, which made other little kids cry and miss their mothers. I thought it was really cute and I miss being that young and being able to be carried and hugged by my mommy for comfort. I can still do that now, but it’s not as cute as what I saw today.
How my Phonics class plays "Go Fish"
My class uses Upper and Lower case alphabet cards to play Go Fish. This is how I fool kids into reinforcing their alphabet acquisition. BAM!
Julia: Justin (She always chooses Justin) do you have an “a” card?
[Walks over and shows Justin the “a” card]
Justin: [Looks through his pile of cards] Go sit in your seat.
Julia goes back to her seat.
Justin: No.
The funniest thing happened at work today.
So there are these two Pre-K kids (one girl and one boy) that were hanging out all day and the girl’s dad and her little brother came to pick her up. She hugs the boy she was hanging out with goodbye and her little brother all of a sudden roars at the boy, like legit “RAWWWWWWRRRRRR!!!!!”
It was so cute and funny. This little man is already playing overprotective little brother and he’s only 3 years old XD
