Having children is like voluntarily going insane.

1D Preference #187: Dad (His P.O.V.)
Harry: I sat in the nursery, with my fingers tapping against my legs. “Would you like to hold your daughter Mr. Styles?” The nurse questioned lifting her up from the bassinet. I nodded wiping my hands on my jeans. I took my newborn daughter into my arms, carefully cradling her head. My lips curved upwards into a smile as I peered down at the beautiful and perfect addition to the world. “Isn’t she lovely? Isn’t she wonderful?” I quietly crooned.
Liam: I placed a hand on her shoulder to indicate her to stay in bed. “I’ll get him,” I sleepily mentioned. Slowly, I padded along down the hall to the source of the crying. “Hey buddy,” I greeted. I gathered my month old son in my arms and rested him against my shoulder. I took a seat in the nearby rocking chair cradling my son close to my chest. His cries slowly became hushed as I quietly hummed and rocked back in and forth in the chair.
Louis: I couldn’t help but to smile when the faces my two of my favorite girls popped up on the screen. “She isn’t talking yet, right?” I raised my eyebrow. “No,” my wife shook her head. “I think he’s close to saying something though,” she grinned. “I gotta go. I’ll call you later, bye,” I promised. “Bye dada,” my daughter waved. A small gasp escaped my lips but quickly turned into an even bigger smile than before.
Niall: I watched as my teenage son huffed out, while pacing the floor and wringing his hands together. “What are you so nervous about?” I wondered. “It’s my first date. Aren’t I allowed to be a bit nervous? What if I say the wrong thing? Or I screw up?” He babbles on. “Listen, she obviously likes you for you or else she wouldn’t have said yes to the date. I know it’s cliché but just be yourself. There’s absolutely nothing to worry about,” I advise.
Zayn: I bounced lightly on my toes and adjusted my suit. “What are you so anxious about?” A voice questioned from behind me. I twisted around seeing my beautiful daughter in a white gown. “I’m the one getting married,” she added. “You look stunning,” I walk over kissing her forehead. “I can’t believe my little girl is getting married already. Where did the time go?” I sighed. “My husband can never take your place dad,” she noted. “I’ll always be your little girl.”
