Yesterday I went kayaking with my parents down the easy river near my house.

I mostly was playing babysitter since moms ribs are still healing.

But we went around this sharp turn in the river and I started paddling hardcore and singing

I LOOK ONCE MORE JUST AROUND THE RIVERBEND BEYOND THE SHORE!

and now Im pretty sure they officially think I’ve lost it.

This is a fabulous evening to look at the river gauges in the VA/WV/MD. 

Reunited with kayaking yesterday...

I forgot how much I love it.

And how at peace it makes me feel.

I want to kayak every day of my life.

I went kayaking today. It was so fun and made me realize how much I love being on the water again, but I think I got tired from biking home after, not the actual kayaking. Life is good ☺.
