what exactly are you doing for this independent study because I want one like it
By the end of the semester, I will have 5 monochrome character sheets and 3 or 4 cinematic environments. I took the study with Graham Guerra, who is a foundations drawing/design teacher. His brother, Zach, is a filmmaker who I’ve worked for in the past [end of Fall 2010] doing set design sketches and mockups for his short film The Devil’s Dosh. Basically, Graham is trying his own hand at moviemaking and adapting a novel [The Burning Girl by Ben Neihart] into a super artsy short film, with the characters played mainly by transgendered actors. Honestly, I’m glad he suggested I should work on his personal side-project because I’m awful at coming up with and adhering to my own ideas [especially for a semester’s duration], even if his idea for the protagonist was to “make him look all American and manly, but also with the face of Sylvia Plath [a plot point] but also I imagine him to have Justin Bieber hair”.

if i ever sent starfighter to my mother i would actually run away from home forever and then id get a call like 40-50 years in the future saying my mum’s on her deathbed and id begrudgingly go and her last words would probably be “i thought you were a lesbian”
