Natalie left the police station, stowing her FBI badge and heading towards her car. This was the third child death that had been reported during the week, and it was starting to gnaw at her mind. She wasn’t sure what was after the kids, but time was ticking. If she didn’t find out soon there would only be more casualties. She continued down the sidewalk, stopping when she thought she heard footsteps behind her. She turned around, looking around. “Hello? Whose there?” She called out, her hand moving instinctively towards her gun.
