So regarding this John Hurt is the “real” Ninth Doctor rumor… What if he is an aged Eight? He grows old from the pain and hopelessness of fighting the Time War? And something causes him to regenerate into Nine? And that’s why Nine has the coat?
Again with being practical… I don’t see the BBC allowing Moffat to force a rebranding of the entire franchise. It wouldn’t just be changing everything about the show, it would require PHYSICAL CHANGES within the BBC… the DW Experience, the website, licensing of products, toys, etc… it would be an INSANE amount of work.
Or maybe I’m just grasping at straw in order to keep myself sane through the waiting and worrying.
The only times Hook has ever had a broken voice:
In The Crocodile, after Rumple killed Milah. In And Straight On ‘Til Morning, when he was trying to get Baelfire to stay on the Jolly Roger with him, as family… And then in Tallahassee, when he asked Emma why she was betraying him.
Just saying, but I think that speaks volumes. Milah was his family, and he considered Baelfire a son. That explains his broken voice when he lost them — but why the broken voice when Emma betrayed him, left him?
Because he cares about her.
Hook’s been betrayed multiple times, but he has never had that broken, hurt voice towards anyone but Emma, Bae, and Milah.
I know Manta’s like well bad and all. But i have to give him his props, when it comes to family. Because he went basically halfway around the world to meet with the person who want’s his son dead. And what does he say: “NO ONE TOUCHES MY SON!”
He’s been with Kal like how long? Barely just a few months and he’s proud to call Kal his son. And now that he’s hurt and suffering, he’s there for Kal he’s really worried and will take whatever measure to get him back to his former self.
While Sportsmaster seriously just doing this for honor. Like the LIGHT and everyone else will all see him as a lower being if he doesn’t get back at Manta for “Artemis’s Death”. He has to prove himself. Whereas Manta will not let any harm come to Kal, see that’s family (in a nutshell) but that’s family.
