Silk is owned by Dean Foods, the largest dairy company in the United States, and the second largest dairy company in the world. If you’re purchasing Silk, you’re giving your money to a cruel company, and still contributing to their horrible practices. If there are other options, PLEASE avoid Silk.
You can also make your own milk, it’s super easy, plus it’s cheaper and healthier.
JK Rowling didn't promise Evanna Lynch the part of Luna Lovegood. She told her that she couldn't play the part if she didn't get better...there's a difference.
She told Evanna that she couldn’t play Luna if she was sick. She didn’t say ‘I’ll give you a part if you get better’. She didn’t have any control over who was cast and who wasn’t. Evanna took the advice JKR gave her, got better, and then auditioned like everyone else for the part of Luna Lovegood and was given the part because she was the best for the job.
She didn’t get the part because JKR put a good word in. She got the part based on her talent.
She got better because she took advice from JK Rowling, who encouraged her to pursue her dream of playing Luna, and reminded her that she could not achieve that goal if she was sick.
