Right-Wing Islamophobe explains why Islam is NOT Protected Under the US Constitution

catchkevin.com

And the winner of the “Worst Constitutional Argument of the Week” Award is… KEVIN A. LEHMANN for his argument that Muslims in America have no First Amendment rights. And yes, he cites European multiculturalism and professional hatemonger Geert Wilders. Lehmann might as well cite Anders Behring Brevik’s manifesto. I wish I were joking.

An excerpt:

America faces a grave threat from Islam. Muslims are infiltrating our country in droves and they’re doing it under the guise of “Constitutional Protection.” And like England, if we don’t stand our ground now, it will be too late. Muslims are cunning, crafty and clever. They’re using our ignorance of the understanding of our own Constitution against us, and they are clandestinely and methodically spreading their tentacles in a quiet and unassuming manner.

Federal, state, and local governments on the other hand won’t acknowledge the imminent threat. They incorrectly claim that Muslims have “Constitutional Rights” to come here, proselytize people, build mosques, and implement shariah in their communities and in the public square. They’re dead wrong! And by and large, Islam is getting away with it just like they have in Europe. Only unlike Europe, and in Great Britain in particular, it’s not too late to stem the tide, but we have to act now. Time is not on our side. In fact, this may come as a shock, but there are more mosques being built on American soil than Christian churches. We are already well under way to being Islamized.

To understand Islam is to understand sharia. The religion of Islam is nothing short of a totalitarian political, economic, military, social and legal system that’s camouflaged in religious garb. Their mandate (not objective) is to incorporate our country into a global Islamic caliphate.

Sadly, they are making serious inroads towards their tyrannical mandate because America is not resisting. We are all that stands between freedom and a worldwide Islamic caliphate. The United States of America is the world’s last bastion of hope.

And that’s not the worst of it. The rest of the article is quite similar to the Know-Nothing Party’s platform. This Islamophobia is not unique in that it was Jews, Catholics, Jesuits, Masons, etc. at various points in history.

In fact, in the excerpt, replace references to Muslims with Catholics. Congratulations - you’ve successfully joined the Know-Nothings!

Abraham Lincoln wrote:

“I am not a Know-Nothing. That is certain. How could I be? How can any one who abhors the oppression of negroes, be in favor of degrading classes of white people? Our progress in degeneracy appears to me to be pretty rapid. As a nation, we began by declaring that ‘all men are created equal.’ We now practically read it ‘all men are created equal, except negroes.’ When the Know-Nothings get control, it will read ‘all men are created equal, except negroes, and foreigners, and catholics.’ When it comes to this I should prefer emigrating to some country where they make no pretence of loving liberty — to Russia, for instance, where despotism can be take pure, and without the base alloy of hypocracy [sic].” - Letter to Joshua F. Speed August 24, 1855

"Woman Dies After Being Dragged From Hospital"

stltoday.com

Anna Brown wasn’t leaving the emergency room quietly.

She yelled from a wheelchair at St. Mary’s Health Center security personnel and Richmond Heights police officers that her legs hurt so badly she couldn’t stand.

She had already been to two other hospitals that week in September, complaining of leg pain after spraining her ankle.

This time, she refused to leave.

A police officer arrested Brown for trespassing. He wheeled her out in handcuffs after a doctor said she was healthy enough to be locked up.

Brown was 29. A mother who had lost custody of two children. Homeless. On Medicaid. And, an autopsy later revealed, dying from blood clots that started in her legs, then lodged in her lungs.

She told officers she couldn’t get out of the police car, so they dragged her by her arms into the station. They left her lying on the concrete floor of a jail cell, moaning and struggling to breathe. Just 15 minutes later, a jail worker found her cold to the touch.

Top North Carolina Democrat Says Republicans Are "Raping" The State

buzzfeed.com

“I was not intending to offend anyone,” he said. “I’m sorry if they took it that way. That’s not what the metaphor means.”

The top Democratic Party official in North Carolina compared Republican actions in the state to rape Thursday. Randy Voller, the North Carolina Democratic Party chairman and mayor of Pittsboro reportedly said, “the GOP that’s leading us – we don’t know where they’re taking us, but they’re raping us along the way.”

Voller was speaking to the Democratic Women of Guilford County at their annual President’s Spring Banquet according to the News-Record.

The quote came out in a tweet from the Guliford County Democrats, who were live tweeting the event. Voller said the tweet, which was quickly deleted, was being taken out of context.

“I think it’s a complete misquote, or a redaction,” Voller told WRAL in North Carolina. “I did use the term contextually.”

“It’s as if barbarians are pillaging and plundering. I’m talking about the destruction that’s going on,” he said referring to Republican-controlled North Carolina legislature. “It’s no different than saying that fracking is raping the land.

Voller said he was “sorry” if people were offended.

“I was not intending to offend anyone,” he said. “I’m sorry if they took it that way. That’s not what the metaphor means.”

When a News-Record reporter told Voller there was a likely chance a woman at the event had been a victim of rape, Voller said he could have been a victim as well.

“I don’t know that,” Voller said. “Women and men are both victims of abusive power and violence. I personally could have been raped.”

Sometimes the answer to my question is just plain wrong

And I’m just like:

Oh Fanpop, why must you do this to me?

So the website fanpop.com hosts user-submitted photos of actors and such. Okay, fine. The problem is that every single damn page of Fanpop is loaded full of ads, and I mean full of ads. Not only does this make the site irritatingly slow to load for me, but it also sometimes causes combinations that just should not be allowed.

‘Cause just for a random example, I REALLY didn’t need to see a pic of a smiling Colin O’Donoghue with an ad right directly underneath it, making it seem as if the photo’s caption is the name of a feminine hygiene product.

Quite frankly, it’s none of my business whether someone else’s husband has a smooth applicator for easy insertion.

I am ashamed of my brain for even going there, but I still blame Fanpop.

Please stop smiling at me, picture-of-Colin-O’Donoghue.  This isn’t funny.

I'm sorry sir we may have to disagree. die hard is THE perfect Christmas film. its a wonderful life is ok.
